With the arrangement made by Recruitment Division, over 40 mentees of the Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) 2012-13 visited Kwai Chung Division (KWCDIV) on March 8 to see the actual working environment of frontline units. After the visit, they got a better idea of KWCDIV's operational priorities and management strategies, as well as the facilities and equipment of frontline units.

The visit started with a guided tour of the report room and facilities and an introduction of the Regional Mobile Command Unit and vehicles of the Regional Traffic Formation. The mentees also attended a patrol sub-unit briefing on the daily duties of frontline officers.

Following the tour, Kwai Chung Divisional Commander Ho Yun-sing gave a briefing on how his division maintained law and order and implemented operational priorities.

A junior inspector of KWCDIV also shared his work experience and challenges as a patrol sub-unit commander.

Wrapping up their visit, the mentees thanked SP Ho and his officers for arranging an interesting programme, as well as PMP mentors for joining them in the visit.
