NEC students visit MWDIV
As part of its ongoing effort to engage Hong Kong's diverse community, Marine West Division (MWDIV) played host to a visit by Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) students from an Islamic primary school in Tuen Mun on March 12.
The students, accompanied by their teacher and MWDIV Assistant Police Community Relations Officer, Sergeant Po Yan-yee, were given an introduction on the work of Marine Region and maritime law enforcement before touring a Divisional Patrol Launch. They were particularly interested in the wide range of navigational and other specialist equipment onboard and enjoyed talking to the crewmembers.
After the visit, the students said they had gained a better idea of the complexity of police work..
