OffBeat will soon reach the milestone of the 1,000th issue. To mark this occasion, OffBeat is inviting readers to design the masthead of the English or Chinese section or both sections. A contestent should not submit more than one entry to each category.

The background of the masthead should be in white. The design of the Chinese masthead should be in proportion: about 7 cm high and 2.5 cm wide. 

For the English masthead, the letters "O" and "B" should be in capital form, while the other letters are not subject to the same requirement. The design should be in proportion: about 2 cm high and 11 cm wide. Both designs should be original works.

The OffBeat Editorial Committee will select the best design, which will be used, starting from the 1,000th issue.

OffBeat is looking forward to readers' active participation in the contest. Participants are requested to send their designs before July 15, together with their name, contact number and UI number (if applicable), via offbeat1000@police.gov.hk (size about 1 MB in jpg format) or by post to OffBeat Editorial Office on 10th floor, Arsenal House, Police Headquarters, Wan Chai.
