At the invitation of Psychological Services Group, renowned local writer and columnist, Mr Li Shun-yan, shared his life wisdom with over 300 Force members at a "Balances and Wisdom" seminar on May 30.

Mr Li also showed the photos of his different trips in the world, hoping his works would inspire thinking of life. He pointed out that the most important lesson he learned from travelling was learning humbleness, especially when he observed the power of nature. "Humbleness would make one observe things from different perspectives," he said.

Mr Li also talked about the importance of remaining grateful. "Remaining grateful is a kind of virtue. A grateful person would not be too bad in character and may get peace of mind."

He concluded his talk with praise for the Force. "I have come across police officers in many places. If our police officers were not good enough, then there are no good police officers in the world."
