The Police Cycling Club (PCC) has held two sessions on "Basic Road Bike Maintenance" to help cyclists upkeep their bicycles with just a few tools.

The trainer, Mr Dorming Chau, is a renowned cycling coach and mechanic, as well as a former member of the Hong Kong National squad.  He is currently looking after the regional matters of the first and only International Cycling Union's professional cycling team in Asia.

The 40 training places of the first session were snapped up within hours after an announcement was made on the Force NoticeBoard. In view of this popularity, an additional session was added. The majority of the 80 attendants were eager to gain a better understanding of the mechanical side of cycling. Some of them attended training because their duty involves cycling patrol.

The PCC will organise more workshops and classes on cycling safety and other cycling related topics. For information about the PCC, contact Ronald Lam at 9128-9185 or Sean Ho at 9098-3869.
