In view of the escalation of violence in recent public order events, Police now updates the Anti-Violence Hotline upon communications with different social media companies and various parties in the society.

Please note the followings:
- This Hotline is solely for receiving anti-violence intelligence e.g. information, photos, audio and video clips in order to assist in prevention and detection of crime. We would not pick up any incoming calls.
- This Hotline is not for general reporting. To make a Police report, please call a nearby Police Station or 999.
- Police would not collect any personal data from you and we would not provide your personal data nor any intelligence you provided to third parties.
- The data collected are retained for as long as the purposes which such data were collected continue. Once it is not necessary to use the Personal Data to fulfil such purposes, they will then be destroyed within a reasonable time unless their retention is required to satisfy legal requirements.
