Appeal for information on serious traffic accident in Kwun Tong

Police today (February 13) appeal to members of the public to provide information on a serious traffic accident in Kwun Tong in which a 48-year-old man was seriously injured.

At 11.17pm on November 27, 2005, a bus driven by a 38-year-old man was travelling along Wai Yip Street towards Kwun Tong Ferry Pier. When it was entering the bus stop of Kwun Tong Ferry Bus Terminus, it reportedly knocked down a 48-year-old man who was crossing the passageway ahead of it.

Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to the United Christian Hospital for medical treatment.

Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
