Special traffic arrangement for procession in Yau Tsim

Police will implement crowd management measures and special traffic arrangements to facilitate a public procession to be held in Yau Tsim District tomorrow (February 17).

The procession will start at about 2 pm from the Kowloon Mosque in Tsim Sha Tsui to the playground at the junction of Market Street and Shanghai Street in Yau Ma Tei.

During the procession, the following road junctions will be closed to traffic intermittently until the conclusion of the procession:

a) Kowloon Park Drive/ Canton Road
b) Haiphong Road/ Canotn Road
c) Austin Road/ Canton Road
d) Jordan Road/ Canton Road
e) Kansu Street/ Canton Road
f) Kansu Street/ Shanghai Street

Members of the public are advised to use public transport and avoid driving to the affected areas.

Motorist should exercise tolerance and patience in case of traffic congestion and take heed of instructions of the Police at the scene.
