Appeal for information on body found case in Kwai Chung

Police today (February 23) appealed to members of the public for information on a body found case in Kwai Chung on May 26, 2005.

At about 3.15 pm on May 26 last year, Police received a report that a man was found hanging on a tree in the hill behind a temple in Tai Wo Hau South Playground, Kwai Chung.

The man, with no identity documents found on him, was certified dead at the scene.

Aged between 50 and 60, the deceased was of medium build, 1.53 meters in height and 55 kilograms in weight. He was wearing a short-sleeved white T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of brown slippers when found.

Initial Police investigations revealed that there was no suspicious element surrounding his death.

Police urge anyone who knows his identity to contact the investigating officers of Miscellaneous Enquiry Sub-unit of Kwai Chung Division on 2410 2236 or Kwai Chung Police Station on 2410 2200.
