Murder in Tuen Mun

Police are investigating a murder case in which a 43-year-old woman was killed in Tuen Mun last (March 25) night.

At about 9.50 pm, Police received a report that there was noise coming out from a residential unit in Hing Fai House of Tai Hing Estate.

Responding to the call, Police officers sped to the scene found a woman lying unconscious in the kitchen while a man was also located in the unit.

Sustaining stab wounds to her head and abdomen, the 43-year-old woman was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital where she was certified dead at 11.36 pm.

Her 22-year-old son was arrested in connection with the case. He was also sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment.

Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Tuen Mun are proceeding.
