Man charged with murder

Police today (March 27) charged a 22-year-old man with one count of murder.

He was arrested on March 25 in connection with the death of his 43-year-old mother in a residential unit in Hing Fai House of Tai Hing Estate in Tuen Mun. The woman was found lying unconscious in the kitchen and was later certified dead in Tuen Mun Hospital.

Post mortem of the deceased is yet to be arranged to ascertain the cause of her death.

The man will appear in Tuen Mun Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (March 28).
