Appeal for information on abandoned child (with photo)

Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a child who was found abandoned in Mong Kok today (May 11).

At about 12.30 pm today, a passer-by found a boy aged about four to five at Sai Yee Street Children's Playground. A report was then made to the Police.

Standing about 1.1 metres tall, the boy was wearing a short-sleeved shirt in orange, grey and yellow colour, grey shorts and a pair of dark-coloured scandals when discovered. He cannot walk and have communication problems.

Police urge the relatives of the child or anyone who has information to offer to contact the investigating officers at 2398 6493 or the Mong Kok Police Station at 2398 6329.
