Appeal for information on dead body found in Yau Ma Tei

Police today (June 26) appealed to the members of the public for information on a dead body found in Yau Ma Tei typhoon shelter on May 13.

At about 2:30 am on May 13, Marine Police received report that a dead body was floating at the sea off Yau Ma Tei typhoon shelter. It was later confirmed to be a 49-year-old man surnamed Choi.

He was wearing a white long-sleeved T-shirt and blue jeans when discovered.

No suspicious circumstances were detected in the initial enquiries.

Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the investigating officers of Patrol Sub-unit of Marine Harbour Division at 2886 8754.
