Special traffic arrangements for Flag Raising Ceremony Rehearsal

The Police will implement special traffic arrangements in the vicinity of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) Phase II in Wan Chai on June 30 (Friday) to facilitate the rehearsal for the Flag Raising Ceremony for the Ninth Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The rehearsal will be held from 7 am to 1 pm on June 30.

During the rehearsal, a section of Expo Drive East, north of Expo Drive will be closed. Traffic along easthbound Expo Drive will be prohibited to turn left to Expo Drive East. Traffic along northbound Expo Drive East will be prohibited to drive straight into a section of Expo Drive East on the northern side of the junction with Expo Drive. Traffic on Expo Drive will be maintained but held up intermittently when the parade marches in and out of the Golden Bauhinia Square at HKCEC Phase II.

The bus terminusat the northern end of Expo Drive East and the taxi stand on Expo Drive East will be suspended between 7 am and 1 pm on June 30.

Buses running Route No 973A, 961 and 25A will terminate at Wan Chai Ferry Pier Bus Terminus in the mentioned period.
