Appeal for information on dead body found in Lantau Island (with photo)

Police today (June 30) appealed to the members of the public for information on a dead body found in Lantau Island on June 19.

At about 12:35 pm on June 19, Police received report that a dead body was floating at the sea off Po Chu Tam, Tai O in Lantau Island. It was later confirmed to be a man.

He was wearing a beige long-sleeved shirt and a pair of grey socks when discovered.

No suspicious circumstances were detected in the initial enquiries.

Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the investigating officers of Miscellaneous Sub-unit of Lantau North Division at 2988 2330.
