Man charged with murder in Tuen Mun

Police today (June 30) charged a 40-year-old man with one count of murder.

The man was suspected to be connected with a murder case in which a 35-year-old female body was found near a kiosk at Tuen Mun East Service Reservoir yesterday (June 29). She was certified dead by ambulancemen at scene.

A post-mortem conducted today revealed that the deceased was died of loss of blood with multiple wounds found on the upper body caused by hard objects.

Police arrested a 40-year-old man in his home in Tuen Mun shortly after 9 pm yesterday.

He was charged with one count of murder today and will appear in Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (July 1) morning.
