Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident

Police today (July 7) appealed to members of the public for information on a traffic accident in which a 48-year-old man was killed in Cheung Sha Wan on July 3.

Shortly after 10.15 pm, a public light bus was traveling along eastbound Cheung Sha Wan Road. While negotiating a left bend, the vehicle reportedly knocked down the 48-year-old man who was crossing the road.

Sustaining head injuries, the man was sent to Caritas Medical Centre for medical treatment where he was certified dead at 4.41 am on the following day (July 4).

Investigations by Special Investigation Team, Traffic, Kowloon West are proceeding.
