Appeal for information on missing woman (with photo)

Police today (August 5) appealed to members of the public for information on the whereabouts of a woman reported missing in Western District last month.

Cheuk Chiu-kin, aged 71, went missing after she left an elderly home on Queen's Road West in Western District in the morning of July 31. Police received report on the same day.
Standing about 1.57 metres and weighing about 58 kilograms, Cheuk is of fat build. She has a pointed face with short straight white hair.

Cheuk was wearing a short-sleeved white shirt with floral pattern, black trousers and a pair of brown slippers when last seen. She likes to frequent the Star Ferry Piers in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui.

Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing woman to contact the investigating officers of Regional Missing Person Unit, Hong Kong Island on 2860 1045 or any police station.
