Duo charged for trafficking in dangerous drugs

Police today (September 6) charged two men each with two counts of trafficking in dangerous drugs.

The duo, both aged 53, were arrested during an operation mounted by officers of the Narcotics Bureau in Tsuen Wan yesterday (September 5). A record seizure of over 500 kilograms of suspected ketamine with a retail value of about $85 million was seized in the operation.

The two men will appear in Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning (September 6).
