Man charged with wounding

Police today (September 7) charged a 39-year-old off-duty police constable with one count of wounding.

He was arrested in connection with a case in which a 44-year-old station sergeant was shot inside a subway near Aberdeen Praya Road last night (September 6).

The 39-year-old police constable will appear in Eastern Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (September 8).
