Special traffic arrangements for fire dragon dance

Police will implement special traffic arrangements from October 5 to 7 to facilitate the fire dragon dance in Tai Hang.

Road closure
------------

The following roads will be closed from 6.30 pm to 11 pm:

- Lai Yin Lane;
- Lin Fa Kung Street East;
- Lin Fa Kung Street West;
- Lily Street;
- Wun Sha Street;
- Ormsby Street;
- Brown Street;
- Warren Street;
- Jones Street;
- Lai Yin Street;
- School Street;
- King Street;
- Shepherd Street;
- Sun Chun Street; and
- Westbound Tung Lo Wan Road between Lin Fa Kung Street East and Lai Yin Street.

Traffic Diversion

- A section of eastbound Tung Lo Wan Road between Tung Lo Wan Path and Lin Fa Kung Street West will be re-routed to westbound;
- Vehicles travelling along Tung Lo Wan Path will be prohibited to turn left onto eastbound Tung Lo Wan Road;
- Vehicles travelling along eastbound Tung Lo Wan Road will not be allowed to enter onto the section of Tung Lo Wan Road between Tung Lo Wan Path and Lin Fa Kung Street West; and
- Vehicles travelling along eastbound Tung Lo Wan Road heading for Chinese Recreation Club and Tai Hang Areas will be diverted via Moreton Terrace, westbound Causeway Road, Leighton Road, Irving Street, Pennington Street, Yee Wo Street, eastbound Causeway Road, eastbound King's Road, Ngan Mok Street, Lau Li Street, westbound King's Road and Tung Lo Wan Road.

Suspension of parking spaces

Parking spaces on the following streets will be suspended from 4 pm to 11 pm:

- Lai Yin Lane;
- Lin Fa Kung Street East;
- Lin Fa Kung Street West;
- Lily Street;
- Wu Sha Street;
- Ormsby Street;
- Brown Street;
- Warren Street;
- Jones Street;
- Lai Yin Street;
- School Street;
- King Street;
- Shepherd Street;
- Tung Lo Wan Road; and
- Sun Chun Street.

The taxi stand outside 90-96 Tung Lo Wan Road will be suspended from 4 pm to 11 pm.

Motorists are advised to take heed of the instructions given by the Traffic Police at the scene and reminded that vehicles illegally parked will be towed away without prior notice.
