Special traffic arrangements for public procession

Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate a public procession to be held on Hong Kong Island on November 12 (Sunday).

(A) Road closure

(I) Between 1.45 pm and 4.30 pm

1. Edinburgh Place outside Queen's Pier.

(II) Between 3 pm and 5 pm

1.The section of Edinburgh Place northbound between Connaught Road Central and Queen's Pier;
2. The section of Lung Wui Road eastbound between Tim Wah Avenue and Tim Mei Avenue;
3. The section of Fenwick Pier Street eastbound between Lung Wui Road and Convention Avenue;
4. The section of Convention Avenue eastbound between Fenwick Pier Street and Expo Drive;
5. Lung King Street

(III) Between 3 pm and 6 pm

The actual timing for implementing the following measures will be flexible depending on the traffic and crowd situation.

1. The section of Expo Drive East between Golden Bauhinia Square and Expo Drive

(B) Traffic diversion

(I) Between 1.45 pm and 4.30 pm

1. Traffic along Connaught Road Central eastbound heading for Edinburgh Place will be prohibited.


(II) Between 3 pm and 5 pm

1. Traffic along Tim Wa Avenue northbound will be prohibited to turn right onto Lung Wui Road eastbound;

2. Traffic along Tim Mei Avenue northbound will be prohibited to turn right onto Fenwick Pier Street eastbound.

(C) Suspension of parking spaces

The metered parking spaces and the motorcycle parking spaces at Lung King Street will be suspended between 2 pm and 5 pm.

(D) Suspension of taxi stand

The taxi stand at Expo Drive East will be suspended between 2 pm and 6 pm.

(E) Suspension of bus terminus

The bus terminus at Expo Drive East will be suspended between 2 pm and 6 pm.

(F) Suspension of coaches metered parking spaces and non-metered parking spaces

All coaches metered parking spaces and non-metered parking spaces at Expo Drive East will be suspended between 2 pm and 6 pm.
