Fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun

Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in which a 31-year-old man was killed in Tuen Mun this morning (December 19).

At about 10.05am, a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) driven by a 31-year-old man was travelling along Lung Kwu Tan Road towards Tuen Mun. When the vehicle reached near a power station, it reportedly had a head-on collision with a medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by a 31-year-old man.

The MGV driver was certified dead at scene while the HGV driver sustained mutiple injuries on his body and was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital.

Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.
