Appeal for information on missing girl (with photo)

Police today (January 8) appealed to members of the public for information on the whereabouts of a girl who went missing in Kwai Chung in December last year.

The missing girl Lam Ching-wai, aged 14, left her residence in Shek Lei Estate, Kwai Chung on December 7, 2006 and has not returned home since then. Her family made a report to the Police on December 8.

Standing about 1.64 metres and weighing about 40 kilograms, she is of thin build. She has a sharp face with yellow complexion and has long black hair.

Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing girl to contact the investigating officers of Regional Missing Person Unit, New Territories South on 3661 1171 or any police station.
