Fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 27-year-old woman was killed in Tuen Mun this morning (February 1).

At about 7.45am, a medium goods vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man was travelling along Tuen Mun Road Kowloon bound. When it reached Rosedale Garden in San Hui, it reportedly knocked down a motorcycle on the same direction driven by the 27-year-old woman.

Sustaining serious head injury, the woman was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital where she was certified dead at 8.18am.

Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic New Territories North are proceeding.
