Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Aberdeen

Police today (February 22) appealed to members of the public for information on a traffic accident in which a 55-year-old man was killed in Aberdeen early this month.

At about 12 noon on February 10, a driver reported to the Police that he found the 55-year-old man lying unconscious beside a motorcycle on eastbound Repulse Bay Road near Headland Road in Aberdeen when the informant was driving past the scene.

The unconscious man rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital and later transferred to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where he was certified dead at 1.51 am on the next day (February 11).

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island are proceeding.

Anyone who might have witnessed the accident is urged to contact the investigating officers on 3106 8800.
