Fatal traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok this (February 23) afternoon in which a 41-year-old man was killed.

Shortly after 4.45 pm, a motorbike driven by the 41-year-old man were travelling along westbound Eastern Road. While reaching near the junction of Concorde Road, the motorbike reportedly lost control, dashed to the opposite lane and collided with a private car driven by a 52-year-old man.

Sustaining serious injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 5.20 pm.

Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
