Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom

Police today (March 26) appealed to members of the public to provide information on a traffic accident in which a 69-year-old woman was killed in Hung Hom earlier this month.

At 11.30 pm on March 14, a taxi driven by a 58-year-old man was travelling along northbound Fat Kwong Street. While reaching near Chatham Road North, it reportedly knocked down the 69-year-old woman who was crossing the road.

Sustaining serious injuries, the woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she was certified dead at 11.23 pm on March 19.

Investigations by Special Investigation Team, Kowloon West are proceeding.
