Man died in Tsuen Wan robbery

Police are investigating a robbery case in which a 24-year-old man died after he was found injured in an industrial building on Sha Tsui Road in Tsuen Wan this (April 2) afternoon.

Initial enquiries revealed that shortly after 5pm, the man disguised to be a delivery staff went into a company in an industrial centre on 26-38 Sha Tsui Road in Tsuen Wan. Upon seeing a 30-year-old female staff in the company, he tried to attack her with a stun gun. The woman put up a struggle with the suspect and shouted for help.

The suspect failed to robe the company and fled downstairs. Upon receiving a report, Police sped to the scene and finally located the suspect on the 13th floor staircase with a serious cut wound on his left thigh. A stun gun and a knife were found next to him.

Both the suspect and the 30-year-old woman who struggled with the suspect were sent to Yan Chai Hospital where the man was certified dead at 6.32 pm.
