Appeal for information on missing old man (with photo)

Police today (April 23) appealed to the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a man who was found missing in Aberdeen yesterday (April 22).

The missing man, Lam Tun-ying aged 68, went missing after he visited the theme park in Aberdeen with his wife and was last seen near the washroom at the main entrance of the park at around 5 pm. His wife reported to the Police on the same day.

Standing about 1.77 metres and weighing about 82 kilograms, the missing man is of fat build. He has a round face, a tanned complexion and short grey curly hair with a mole to the left of his forehead.

The missing man was wearing a white T-shirt, blue trousers and a pair of brown shoes, and carried a pair of glasses when last seen. He can only speak Fujian dialect and Mandarin, and express his own name.

Police urged anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing man to contact the investigating officers of Regional Missing Persons Unit, New Territories North on 2666 4499 or any police station.
