An elderly man died in North Point traffic accident

An 82-year-old man was killed in a traffic accident on King's Road, North Point early this (May 27) morning.

Shortly before 6 am, a public bus driven by a 57-year-old male driver was travelling along the eastbound of King's Road. While reaching No.281 King's Road, it reportedly knocked down the 82-year-old man who was crossing the road.

Sustaining serious head injuries, the old man was rushed to the Eastern Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.16 pm in the afternoon.

The Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island will investigate into the case.
