Police appeal to burglary victims to come forward

Police today (July 12) appeal to victims of burglary to report to the Police after a 25-year-old man was arrested yesterday (July 11) at Sheung Shui.

From February to July this year, four Burglary cases had been reported to the Police from the upper floor residents of Tin Long House, Tin Ping Estate, some of the windows of the balconies and kitchens of their premises were found prized open.

After investigation, a 25-year-old man who lives in a unit on the upper floor of Tin long House, Tin Ping Estate was arrested. It is believed that he climbed up to the rooftop from a kitchen window of his premises and then climbed into other premises. Some suspected burglary tools were seized from his premises.

Police urge anyone who has been the victim of a burglary and have not reported to the Police to contact officers of Division Investigation Team of Sheung Shui at 2675 3403.
