Appeal for information on serious traffic accident in Tin Sum

Police appealed to the public to provide information on a traffic accident in which two men were injured in Tin Sum today (July 14).

At about 7am today, a motorcycle driven by a 61-year-old man was travelling along the second lane of Sha Tin Heights Section of Tai Po Road (Kowloon Bound). When it reached near Kowloon Reservoir, the driver reportedly knocked down a man aged about 60 who was crossing the road.

After the impact, the men sustained injuries and were rushed to Caritas Medical Centre. The man aged about 60 was later transferred to Kwong Wah Hospital.

Enquiries by the Special Investigation Team of traffic, New Territories South are proceeding.
