Murder and suicide in Sheung Shui

Police are investigating a murder and suicide case in which a 31-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man died in Ka Fuk Estate, Sheung Shui today (July 20).

The case occurred shortly before 10.30 am. Police received a report that a man was fallen from height and lying on the floor outside Fuk Tai House, Ka Fuk Estate.

The man was certified dead at scene by the ambulanceman.

When Police went to the premises of the man for investigation, a 31-year-old woman was found lying unconcscious on the bed inside the bedroom. She was also certified dead at scene by the ambulanceman.

Initial investigations revealed that the man plunged himself to death after attacking the woman.

A post-mortem will be conducted tomorrow (July 21) to ascertain the cause of their death.

Investigations by District Crime Squad, Tai Po are proceeding.
