Fatal Traffic Accident in Yuen Long

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 33-year-old man was killed in Yuen Long tonight (August 5).

At about 6.48pm, a motorcycle driven by the 33-year-old man was travelling along Route Twisk towards Pat Heung. The vehicle reportedly lost control while turning right at downslope and bumped onto the road kerb on the opposite lane on Tsuen Wan bound.

After the incident, the driver was found unconscious and was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital where he was certified dead at 7.57pm.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.
