Appeal for information on a person fell from height case in Mong Kok

Police appealed to members of the public for information on a person fell from height case in which a South Asian woman died on July 22.

At about 5.30 pm on that day, Police received a report that a woman was found lying on an awning at the rear lane of No.123 at Fa Yuen Street in Mong Kok. Police officers arrived at the scene and located the woman. She was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital where she was certified dead at 6.12 pm on the same day.

The deceased, believed to be a South Asian woman, aged around 20 to 30. Standing about 1.6 metres, she is of normal build and has black curly hair. She was wearing a white round-collar T-shirt, a pair of shorts with khaki camouflage pattern and a pair of slippers when discovered. No identity document was found at the scene.

Initial enquiries revealed that there was no suspicious circumstance surrounding her death.
