Fatal traffic accident in Sha Tin

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Sha Tin this morning (September 5) in which a woman was killed.

About 8am, a bus driven by a 34-year-old man turning left into Chun Shek Estate from Fung Shek Street hit a 68-year-old woman who was crossing the road.

The woman who sustained head injuries was certified dead by the ambulancemen at the scene.

The case will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic New Territories South.
