Seven charged with passing counterfeit banknotes

Police today (September 15) charged three Australian and four Taiwanese men with passing counterfeit banknotes and possession of false instruments.

The men, aged between 51 and 62, were arrested by officers of the Commercial Crime Bureau on September 13 after Police received a report from a bank in Central on September 10 that some suspected counterfeit Kuwait Dinar notes were found.

The men will appear in Eastern Magistrates' Courts on September 17 (Monday).
