Fatal traffic accident in Pat Heung

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 39-year-old man was killed in Pat Heung yesterday night (November 30).

At about 10.35pm, a motorcycle driven by a 39-year-old man was traveling along Pat Heung Road towards Kam Sheung Road, while a private car was traveling along Pat Heung Road towards Tai Lam. At the time when the private car right turned to the north line of Pat Heung Road, it collided with the motorcycle.

Sustaining injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital where he was certified dead at 11.31pm.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are underway.
