Police investigate woman's death

     Police are investigating the death of a woman in Sheung Shui this morning (January 23).

     About 8.25am, the 58-year-old owner of a kennel in Kau Lung Hang Tsuen, Sheung Shui, told Police that he had found his staff member, a 24-year-old Indonesian woman, collapsed inside the kennel.

     When Police arrived, they found the woman lying unconscious outside a small hut at the kennel.

     The woman was subsequently certified dead at the scene. An initial examination revealed possible cut wounds on her body and the death is being treated as suspicious.

     A post-mortem will be conducted tomorrow (January 24) to ascertain the cause of death.

     Investigations by Regional Crime Unit of New Territories North are under way.
