Homicide and suicide in Tsuen Wan

     Police are investigating a homicide and suicide case in Tsuen Wan in which a 26-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were found dead.

     Shortly after 11pm yesterday (January 26), a report was made to the Police that a man was found fallen from height and lying unconscious outside Block 2 of Tsuen King Garden. He was soon certified dead by the ambulancemen at the scene.

     Police officers later located a 42-year-old woman lying unconscious inside the bedroom of a flat in the building.

     The woman, sustaining multiple stab wounds, was also confirmed dead at the scene. A knife was found inside the flat.

     Initial enquiries revealed that the man and the woman knew each other. It was suspected that the man plunged himself to death after attacking the woman with the knife.

     A post-mortem examination will be conducted on Monday (January 28) to ascertain the cause of death.

     Relationship of the duo and motive of the attack is still under investigation by the District Crime Squad of Tsuen Wan.
