Police appeal for information on Sham Shui Po traffic 
accident

    Police today (January 29) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Sham Shui Po earlier this month in which a 61-year-old man was injured and later died.

     About 6.45pm on January 19, a motorcycle driven by a 32-year-old man was travelling southeast along Cheung Sha Wan Road. At the junction with Nam Cheong Street, the vehicle hit the man who was crossing the road.

     The man sustained head and shoulder injuries and was taken to the Caritas Medical Centre where he was certified dead at 7.22pm on January 20.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic Kowloon West, are continuing.
