CP brief DFCC Chairmen on HK's crime situation (with photo) **************************************** The Commissioner of Police (CP), Mr Tang King-shing (second from left), met with the Chairmen of District Fight Crime Committees today (February 1) to report the crime situation of Hong Kong in 2007 in a bid to garner their support in the fight against crime. CP also in the meeting briefed the Chairmen on the Force's operational priorities in 2008. The eight priorities included 'Policing of the 2008 Olympic Equestrian Event', 'Violent Crime', 'Triads', 'Quick Cash Crime', 'Terrorism', 'Trafficking and abuse of dangerous drugs', 'Offences related to visitors and illegal immigrants' and 'Road Safety'.
