Fatal accident in Lok Ma Chau

    Police are investigating a traffic accident in Lok Ma Chau this afternoon (February 4) in which an 88-year-old woman was killed.

    At about 2.55pm, a light goods vehicle driven by a 39-year-old man was moving backwards on the road towards Pun Uk Tsuen.   Reaching near the entrance of Pun Uk Tsuen, the vehicle hit the woman.  

	She sustained serious injuries and was certified dead by the ambulanceman at the scene.     

    Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of  Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.
