Fatal traffic accident in Mong Kok

     Police are investigating a traffic accident in Mong Kok this morning (February 19) in which a 19-year-old man was killed.
 
     About 10.40 am, a car travelling northbound on Lin Cheung Road. Approaching Lai Cheung Road, it lost control and slammed into a road-sign stand.

     Two male passengers, aged 17 and 19, and a 17-year-old female passenger were seriously injured and rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital. The 19-year-old man was certified dead at 11.46 am.

     Police said the driver of the car left the scene after the accident. 

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic, Kowloon West are under way.
