Marine Police seize computer goods worth over $1 million ******************************************************** Marine Police have seized a large quantity of computer hard disks worth over $1 million in an anti-smuggling operation in Sai Kung this morning (February 20). About 4am, officers of Marine Outer Waters District Task Force and Marine East Division spotted a group of people unloading goods from a light goods vehicle onto two speedboats at a public pier near Chui Tong Road carpark in Sai Kung. All people at the scene fled in the two speedboats when they saw police officers, leaving the light goods vehicle. A total of 52 boxes of computer hard disks worth over $1 million were seized on the vehicle. The case will be handed over to the Customs and Excise Department for further investigation.
