Fatal accident in Kwun Tong

    Police are investigating a traffic accident in Kwun Tong this morning (February 24) in which a 74-year-old man was killed.

    At about 11.30am, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 29-year-old man was travelling along Lei Yue Mun Road towards Kowloon City.  When reaching the junction with Ko Chiu Road, the LGV hit a man who was crossing the road.

    The man sustained head injuries and was taken to United Christian Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.22pm.    

    The case will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East for investigation.
