Man charged with murder

Police today (February 27) charged a 36-year-old man with one count of murder.

The man was arrested in connection with the death of his 62-year-old mother in a flat at Star Street in Wan Chai yesterday (February 26).

An autopsy conducted yesterday revealed that the woman died of multiple chop wounds on her head.

The man will appear in Eastern Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (February 28).
