Fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun

	Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tuen Mun this morning (March 8) in which a 28-year-old woman was killed.

	About 7.15am, a private car being driven by a 31-year-old man was travelling along Castle Peak Raod towards Kowloon. When approaching Lingnan Section outside Lingnan University, the car hit the woman who was crossing the road.

	The woman was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital where she was certified dead at 7.49am.

    The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.
 
    Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
