Police appeal for information on fatal accident in Kwun Tong

     Police today (March 10) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Kwun Tong on March 6, in which a 69-year-old woman was seriously injured and later died in hospital.

     At about 8.15pm on March 6, a car driven by a 33-year-old man was travelling west along Pik Wan Road. When reaching near Kwong Ching House, Kwong Tin Estate, the car hit the woman who was crossing the road.

     The woman sustained head injuries and was taken to United Christian Hospital where he was certified dead at 1.19am on the following day (March 7).    

     Investigations are being taken by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East.
